The Hyundai logo is supposed to represent two people shaking hands. Pretty obvious, depending on what your hands look like.

On the other hand (ha), Mitsubishi are bit more sophisticated. "Mitsu" means three (I'm told) and these are three oak leaves of the Yamauchi* Clan. And "bishi" is a rhombus. Something to do with other clans too, but I guess the above is fascinating enough.

One of Misubishi' s predecessor companies was founded by Thomas Blake Glover from Fraserburgh, who also started the Kirin beer company as well as being credited with playing a large part in modernising 19th century Japan.

If you put 1 grain of rice on a chessboard square on Day 1, 2 on the next square on Day 2, 4 on Day3 and so on it would only take 54 days to have more rice on the chessboard than is produced each year.

You'd run out of chessboard way before that

Sensible.  Very sensible.

It's probably too soon but how do you feel about the Russian invasion of Ukraine?

The first TV show to use "googled" as a verb was Buffy the Vampire Slayer

When the Coughing Major won £1,000,000 on "Who wants to be a Millionaire", he had correctly answered that 10 to the power 100 was known as a Googol.

The name Google was derived as a variation of this word.

Cough,  cough.
