Terrible news. Not only do we miss out on a trip to a proper Junior venue but this will be our 5th game in 6 on a plastic park.  Hate it.

Well that was everything I feared and worse as an experience. Only allowed to stand at one end of the pitch. Ball booted out the confines of the ground quite literally over 25 times.  Will drive Junior fans away  having to watch a games in that environment.

We lost 3-0 which doesn't tell the story based on performance, but is all that matters. 4 didn't trap from last week's team, for one reason and another didn't help us.

Drumchapel United v Ardrossan Winton Rovers, Saturday 19th Feb, is already OFF due to "lack of a suitable venue", even before any snow issues.

So are Drumchapel properly back at the Donald Dewar, or not? It was suitable for last Saturday, so why not there again this Saturday?...

It was far from suitable, I can assure you!

Should never have rushed these teams in last season. This is the kind of stuff that goes on in the amateurs, not semi professional

The Lowland League were the ones who decided who the founder members of the WoSFL were. Since the management of the league was passed back to the WoSFL clubs and the Management Committee waa formed, ground criteria have been put in place for entry, hence the existence of the Fourth Division.

Im all for ambitious clubs making the step up, so its good to know ground criteria will be a sticking point for some from now on

Got this message earlier. Was told that 2 of the management committee attended last week's game and were far from happy about what they found. Biggest cause for concern was the lack of security for players and officials when leaving the field.

"Donald Dewar stadium unfit for any future WoSFL fixtures from now. Their game against Ardrossan this weekend now postponed as it was too short notice for them to get anywhere else. They will fulfil all the remaining games at New Tinto."

Well, that was the last thing on my mind last week in such an innocuous fixture but, whatever it takes

Didn't deserve to lose that today. Some game for any neutrals in attendance. Wouldn't like to be the groundsman who has to fix the park after that.

Did not realise this game was on. We went all the way to Kilbirnie for a snooze fest
