Nope this fella: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filippo_Tortu He was somebody the commentators didn't really seem to know: though he did reach 100m final at last World Championship, and came 5th in last European Championship. He anchored Italy to silver at World Relay Championship earlier this year as well. So it's not as if he's a total novice tbf. EDIT: Reading his entry he also won European gold and World silver at U20 level a few years ago too. Clearly a handy sprinter if not absolute top-drawer. Having made those individual championship finals it surprises me he didn't ring a bell. Seems big nations don't bother with World Relay, so I can forgive them that.
