Are they? I think they’re arguing there is no evidence that it did cross the line.

The ball bounces off Joe Shaughnessy's outstretched shin at a point when his foot isn't even touching the line. Ignore the deceptive stills, you can see it in motion. It's fine, I understand that it can't be given, but its over the line.

It probably is over the line, but you said people were arguing it wasn’t. I haven’t seen anyone do that.

Angles and spheres are funny things.

This ball was proven to have not fully crossed the line.

One thing that bothered me at the time about that particular decision was made is that it seemed to take until the following day for the fcuking lines to be drawn with supporting photographic stills.

Or did I just make that up? Old age plays havoc with the memory.

Precisely.

You're missing my point.  The image presented does not allow you to see the correct positioning of either official.

Could you possibly mark on the image where you think both officials should be standing?

If the on field officials were doing their job properly VAR wouldn’t be an issue.

I think you will agree that was my point.

The first quote was your point was it not? Apologies if I've got that wrong.

If not, can you show on the image where you think both officials should be standing.

The first quote was an approximation of my point. Of course I accept your apology, we are not savages after all.

Could you clarify your approximation from the image you posted please.  I assumed you thought both were incorrectly positioned but your acceptance of my apology suggests otherwise.

It's one of four:

Both are in the wrong position

Both are in the correct position

Ref is in the correct position and the AR is not.

AR is in the correct position and the ref is not.

A simple red x for where you think both officials should be on the image would be help.
