So just to be clear, Hibs can't bring in other players in the same way we were forced to bring in a keeper?

If you can type in between your bitter tears, please explain in what way you were forced to bring in a keeper.  Thanks.

What an absolute farce

At least Hibs have a full squad and are in no way culpable for having too few players to field a starting squad.  Our manager chose not to sign anyone, meaning a handful of players going down made the entire fixture impossible.

This won’t be the last time this happens, and unless Hibs have actually contravened protocol, County are just going to have to lump it.

Hibs will get a 4 figure fine max, the games will be rescheduled and the weirdos on the Internet will furiously batter their keyboards.

It’s a win win really, 4 weeks without having to watch Jack Ross’ shite Hibs team and everyone foaming at the mouth over it.

The forfeiting calls are patter like, someone tell me how many league games have been forfeited due to teams being unable to field a team?

You don’t need to btw, the answer is 0.

St Mirren were not forced to bring in a keeper. St Mirren had enough players available to play the game under the SPFL rules (which they presumably voted for). They chose to bring in a keeper.

Had St Mirren only had 12 registered players available, or only 9 players over 18 available, they would not have been forced to sign anyone to get the game one.

I feel you have difficulty determining what is a straight line and one obviously set up for a reply.

There is no chance Hibs will be made to forfeit the fixtures and rightly so. Even if they had breached covid protocols, there’s no way of determining if that was directly to blame for the positive cases.

As far as I'm aware there is no rule stating any team would forfeit a fixture due to injury etc.

Can't just shove it in to play during the season regardless if the Hibs players have broken protocol or not.

Are you new to Scottish football?

Having a quick look it seems there have been around 27 different players named in match day squads for Hibs this season. If we discount the 8 players testing positive and the further 4 close contacts, that would leave 15.

That's some injury list if an additional 7 players are unavailable through injury. Unless of the 7 development squad players that are out, some have also been involved in first team match squads this season, which may explain it.
