All the reasons mentioned and our home record from 1.1.20 either side of Jan/Feb 2021 (when we won 3 and drew 2) it is pretty grim. I’ve shown it below and left a wee gap to highlight that 2 months. We’ve also scored a total of 4 goals in the last 9 home league games, 3 in 6 this season. LLLLLLWLL WDWDW LDLLLLLWDD. oldhat
Next season we're going to be playing on the roof, it's a better surface than the pitch.

We've had an eco- friendly moss/grass covered roof long before it became trendy for modern-build insulation purposes. Not only eco-friendly but structural as it's probably the only thing holding the roof up.

Double Jack D
Watched the game on the stream which was fairly decent for a tenner. Good, slightly biased, commentary but nothing wrong with that. Quite enjoyed it from a Queens perspective. Agree we could've been 2 or 3 down in the first 20 mins. I agree with Monkey Tennis though that it wasn't really exceptional goalkeeping from Macdonald but shite finishing from Queens that kept us in it. Macdonald was solid, did what you would expect (and what many a Rovers keeper of recent years possibly wouldn't have) and kept out any on-target efforts but I don't recall him having a save first half which wasn't routine. That said, we had a couple of opportunities where we could've outrageously been ahead at the break. Ross should've scored and the one where he cut back from the bye-line was a sitter if we had anything resembling a natural goal-scorer in the team. I had assumed we were struggling because of playing into a pretty stiff wind however the 2nd half proved that wrong. Good build up from Queens to go 1 up early into the half but we were pretty slack and stood off them far too much. Rest of the match was fairly even I thought. I was fairly confident we would get a goal but equally, had no confidence we were able to prevent a Queens 2nd. Similar to Queens goal, ours was well worked with the flick on from Varion and the run from Connolly but the man tracking Connolly wants shot for letting him in behind. Great finish though. Prior to that Queens keeper had a great save from Zanatta although it's a pretty poor finish from about 6 yards if the keeper has any chance. Similarly Macdonald had one close range effort where he did well to make himself big but again, a decent finisher should've scored easy. In the end a point ground out of sheer stubborness and refusal to be beaten and I suppose Queens not deserving 3 points due to chronic finishing. Plenty to work on though. If either team had a ruthless finisher then they would've won that by a couple at least. *pines for a fit Lewis Vaughan*
steakngravy
Double Jack D the wind dropped and change direction slightly in the second half. As like yourself I thought when we get the wind in our favour it could be interesting but then it dropped.
