Motherwell v St. Johnstone - 18th December 2021

Recommended Posts

Wondered if we'd see...

Clark

MOH - Rooney - Gordon - McCart - Devine

Bryson - Butterfield

Middleton - May - Vertainen

But the manager throwing E2 under the bus on Wednesday kind of ruled that out, so it'll probably be Crawford in there instead.

What's the weather like in Motherwell? In my part of Glasgow visibility is about 50 yards because of the fog. Not quite as bad as that game at Kilmarnock a few years ago but not far off and only going to get worse as it gets dark.

Sun splitting the trees.

One team 5th, the other bottom, you'd feel confident normally but Dundee away was only a few weeks ago

To give the most predictable team in the league a degree of unpredictability today - and presuming 5 at the back here to stay - I would go with:

Clark
Brown Gordon McCart
Rooney Middleton
Butterfield Bryson

Viv SO May
Vertainen

But expecting this sadly:

Clark
Brown Gordon McCart
Rooney Booth
Butterfield Bryson
Crawford

May Middleton

You've nothing to worry about. We are bottom for a number of reasons that won't be fixed by 3 o'clock today.

Vertainen not even in the squad.

What a pathetic man we have in charge.

Or maybe just maybe he isn’t happy about a player not fitting his system and way of playing and isn’t playing him…

Or potentially he just doesn’t think eetu is good enough

Practicing a game without Slattery before we lose him to suspension.  A home game for Cornelius is good, Donnelly coming back is good.  All of that happening at the same time, I am not sure.

Hes literally the only other striker we have.

If hes dropped him through choice for this games it wild, considering May is just back from a knee injury. I mean, surely May won't be forced to play 90 minutes regardless so who goes up front when he goes off? Unless we're going to force him to trudge through the match and potentially injure himself?

Its all just so pointless and petty and whos it actually helping?
