Wildcard Weekend

Bills and Patriots have never played each other in the post season in the super bowl era, last meeting was 1963.

Hopefully the wind stays away for this one though the very early forecast is snow.

Of the 6 available time slots it's probably the 3rd best for me, at least it's a not on a school night.

Based on nothing but gut feeling and blind faith I reckon it will go something like:

Raiders @ Bengals (Raiders W)
Patriots @ Bills (Bills W)
Eagles @ Buccaneers (Buccs W)
49ers @ Cowboys (Cowboys W)
Steelers @ Chiefs (Steelers W, for the added Mahomes family entertainment)
Cardinals @ Rams (Rams W)

NFL.com have boldly predicted that the six division winners will progress against the six wildcard teams.  Insightful!  Glad that the Bills match isn't in the middle of the night on a school night, could be a better kick off time though.

Saw a few Bills writers on twitter going on about the forecast for Saturday and saying it'll be 5 degrees.

Was thinking "that's not too cold" then remembered they're talking in Fahrenheit.

Going to be a bit nippy. Edit though this suggests no snow and very light winds

Cowboys are 6-0 within their division (worst in NFL), which makes them 6-5 outside their division. Very winnable for the 9ers, and I think we will win provided we don't do anything stupid.

NFC East is not the worst in the NFL.  The two Souths are both worse.
