If there are ‘talks’ between the two then UN peacekeepers should be sent in to escort the Ukrainian contingent to the site of talks to ensure nothing untoward happens. Talks should be happening in Switzerland.

How are the Russians meant to kill Zelensky if that happens?

Abramovich hands Chelsea over the Trustees of the clubs foundation.

I'm sure this wonderful altruistic gesture is 100% unconnected to the fact that Abramovich's kleptocrat buddy Putin has just launched an invasion of a democratic sovereign state..................no, sirree...........

Of course not. He is completely transparent regarding his wealth and I believe he paid HMRC £97.80 in tax last financial year.

Guid man is Roman........................

Apparently there’s a history of officials attending such talks “disappearing”. Don’t think Belarus is an appropriate option. The Russians were also only going to have them if Ukraine completely demilitarised first, essentially surrendering, so not exactly talks then is it?

They had brief talks over a mobile phone with the only Chechen leader capable of making a deal, Dzhokhar Dudayev, tracked down his phone and fired off a missile. After that they flattened the country and put a psycho in charge.

Quote

On April 21, 1996, Chechnya’s breakaway president, Dzhokhar Dudayev, was speaking on a satellite phone with Russian envoy Konstantin Borovoi about setting peace talks with Yeltsin. During the phone call, he was killed by a signal-guided missile fired from a Russian jet fighter. The warplane had received Dudayev’s coordinates from a Russian ELINT (electronic intelligence) plane that had picked up and locked on to the signal emitted by the satellite phone.
