I would’ve just liked to have seen him have a crack somewhere else. To suggest they had no credible challenge to win any of the 12 trophies on the bounce is pretty ridiculous, Rangers* were racking up heavy losses at the time to do so and even doing well in Europe latterly. Speaking of, he was rarely at fault in Europe and was often the guy still always looking for the ball in those scuddings you speak of, that is not the mark of a man being ‘found out’ and his stats prove that. He also won players player of the year in 2009 so that pre-20012 stuff doesn’t really add up either really. From my point of view I absolutely hated him when he was with Celtic, loved him from July until December last year when he really wasn’t a waste of a shirt that some Aberdeen fans on here are saying (one anyway), and have been pretty indifferent to him during 2022, apart from waving Ryan Kent bye bye. Not sure why some non-Celtic fans are getting all upset about him being called a Celtic legend. I’ve no idea whether he should be considered a Celtic legend or not and it’s got nothing to do with me, but if Celtic fans think he’s a Celtic legend then he’s a Celtic legend.
