Recruitment ramps up as well as existing out of Contract and organising pre season etc. New era at the club begins and the team need your support now more than ever. New strips/new signings and new manager and staff. Look forward to it all. P.s the strips are crackers . Mon the cowden. Nelly ya wee tease. To supporters I would urge as many people as possible to sign up to the CISS, if you can. As well as providing an essential source of funds for the club, being a member of the CISS will mean being able to have a direct input into the way the club is run both on and off the pitch by way of representation on the board. Carpe diem. Edited May 11 by ronaldincoo
Cowdenleith
Noticed this on the Bonnyrigg Rose thread; ‘also heard we are in for a midfielder from Cowdenbeath.’ Zac presumably?
Only coo in the village
Really happy to see that Dougie has been appointed as the new manager. He will give 100% effort to the job. Can see him moving us up into the upper half of the league next season and starting a much needed rebuild of the team. The defence definitely needs a major sort out and he is the man for that. As much as it would be sad to lose Zac, I hope that he does go to a club at a higher level. He definitely has the talent to play at a better level than the LL.

I know he has a contract so would require a fee to be paid, that would be little consolation in our position trying to replace him. Did I also hear right on the podcast that @NELLY 1 was recently on that if Zac signs for someone else we get a development fee? Presume that is because we offered him terms.

Cowdenleith
Probably best these things are announced by the club when the time is right.

Cowden have never stood in the way of players moving onwards and upwards. It would definitely be good if the club gained a bit of financial compensation if and when he does move on. The lad definitely stands out in terms of quality. wouldn’t be surprised if Calum is interested in taking him.

NELLY 1
Just a quick update on pre season friendly. We had a game away booked against Dunbar. Unfortunately they have cancelled playing at their pitch so we will reverse it so that it can be at Central Park on 13th July. There may also be a friendly at Central Park on Friday 19th July. Other friendlies will be announced in due course. Thanks

An Absolute Imposter
Heh, if Edinburgh or any other club for that matter are removed from the SPFL, don't you think you should get your Bronze Licence in place, as obviously any free space in the SPFL will go to Cowdenbeath.

Don’t start your stirring on this thread, sir, you’ll have the frothing hordes over here in no time with their pitchforks. Bronze is supposedly fairly achievable for Cowdenbeath by all accounts, so the answer is, of course the place should go to us.

I don't know what you mean, it's a perfectly innocent question that needed asked. It pays to keep friends in high places obviously.
