NorthernLights
Quote Coventry City have been issued with an eviction notice by the new owners of the Coventry Building Society Arena. Former Newcastle owner Mike Ashley's Frasers Group took over the stadium last month after buying its three former operating companies. They say the Championship club has no continuing right to use the ground. Club officials were informed on Friday they must return keys and access cards and an FA Youth Cup game on Saturday was switched to Leamington. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63858805 I wonder what the plan is for the stadium if Coventry have been evicted. Is it a ploy to get more money from Coventry to keep using the stadium? Hopefully they eventually get their own stadium sorted out and can leave behind this seemingly cursed one behind them.
DrewDon
My reading of it is that Ashley is essentially giving Sisu two unattractive options; they either accept a significantly less favourable rental agreement than they had in place with Wasps/ACL beforehand, or they sell the club to him at a knockdown price and on his terms. That is one of the most uncomfortable interviews ever, complete with the local rag style production of the burgers rounded off by Ferguson being told not to bite into one on camera, probably because he spit it out after tasting it. The two of them must be the only two people on the planet that can't see this has disaster written all over it. Kolo may have a challenger for shortest appointment of the season here.

Yes. If it's any consolation, I thought he was the racist c**t who used to play for East Fife.

Honest_Man#1
2nd Vs 3rd in the championship tonight. Sheff Utd realistically only need a draw to confirm promotion. Even losing isn’t a disaster for them, but definitely would cause a bit of panic.
