QoSStewartry
Yet again great coverage in the Standard from Andrew Burns. Full back page, long may it continue (and encourage more to the games). Link "Johnston's team are rivalled only by Chelsea, Sheffield United and Tranmere in the undefeated stakes." Now that's a sentence I couldn't have imagined would ever be written, especially sitting to the death through 0-5 Partick ...

die hard doonhamer
Hopkirk just got a goal for Annan, good start to his loan spell.
Distant Doonhamer
Very happy to have gone through the first quarter of the league season undefeated plus the bonus of a cup final to look forward to. The way other results have gone today we`ve actually increased our lead at the top to 7 points I think so no disaster there.
Monkey Tennis
shhhh cammy , better bankrupt with morality remember . I'm pretty certain a moral stance wouldn't have bankrupted us, or indeed cost us a penny. In fact, it would have made us money by pissing off fewer fans. Had the vote gone the way our board wanted, then we would not have stood to face Rangers in the league some time. However, it's now likely that we will meet them at some point on their laborious way up. Your apparent conversion on the voting question baffles me JR. JRS LEFT PEG
This was a daft post I put on and regret . I am not anti any Queens fan on the board . I have said that if it helps heal some rifts then great . My concerns would be that the nominated person would be in a ' no mans land ' concerning expectations but that remains to be seen . I have nothing but the utmost respect for Topfitter in that he devotes a lot of his spare time to the Trust project and I mean that geniunely . I am standing watching the game and he is already organising half time activities . Well done to him . At the moment , I couldn't commit to any Trust activities ( if even wanted that is ) because of work/ family commitments . I would never take lightly anyone - as I say - giving up their spare time for this . I will pay my rejoining fee to big Les Wallace the next time I see him at Palmerston . In the meantime , I will continue with my dubious views on here and financially support the club through the various draws etc there are every week. Thats all I can do I am afraid . Holmes 1970
With David Hopkirk on fire at Galabank do you think he'll be recalled after his loan deal ends?
19QOS19
I hope we offer Hopkirk a deal but at present I can't see him getting regular starts for us. If it's not broken.... So a longer stay at Galabank could be the likely outcome.
JRS LEFT PEG
The next four league games will show us exactly where we are going . Three tough away games at Arbroath, Forfar and Alloa with two of them on an artificial surface . I dont know if we practise on plastic but playing a competitive game on this will be a bit of a step into the unknown for us . The other game is a home one against Ayr and I expect the Honest men to be putting a run together sooner rather than later .
Guest TOPFITTER
MEET THE MANAGER The event went well and was attended by about 45 Supporters. The Manager, Assistant, Physio and Sports Scientist were happy to answer all questions and in a full and frank manner with no little humour. Sandy was delightedly surprised by his Birthday Cake and rendition of Happy Birthday. Allan, Sandy, Crawford and Andrew then spent time mixing with those there and generally talking all things Queens/Football. A raffle was held and one lucky ticket holder won a Signed Framed Queens Top. Thanks to all who attended and showed an interest.

Surely there were 43, 44 or 46 not hard to count, then again Queens have been having problems with counting financially and in crowd attendances over the past few years, so it's no really surprising. Anyhoo, wuz it really worth the bother when so few folk even bother? -
MOTD Wannabee
Due to a couple of issues with the video recording of last night's meeting (operator-error as well as a lighting issue) you can listen to the audio-only file of the 38-minute Q&A session. The questions that were answered are listed below: Q1 (to Allan) : What did you say last week that got you sent to the stand? Q2 : Defensively from corners do you feel there's room for improvement? Q3 : Do you have any intentions of adding to the current squad in January? If so, for what areas of the team? Q4 : Could we be doing with a bit of height in our team as the long balls are pointless? Q5 (to Crawford and Andrew) : The team seems to be a lot fitter and has better stamina this season, would the sports scientist and physio like to comment on what we're doing that's changed that about? Q6 : Do we need a bigger squad come the January transfer window to clinch the championship and are the board going to back it? Q7 : Do you think we can keep our unbeaten run going for the rest of the season? Q8 : Are you worried about the different pitches - we've still got to play on a plastic pitch at some stage? Is it a big change to switch to that surface? Follow-ups : Would we mind playing the Challenge Cup Final on a plastic pitch? What do the physios think of the plastic pitches? Q9 : Regarding the lack of a goalkeeping coach: Goalkeeping is a specialised position which surely requires specialised coaching? Q10 (to Sandy) : Given the current state of our game at international level what, if anything, do you think can be done at grassroot level to improve this? Q11 (to Andrew) : You seem to focus quite a lot on cool-down for players, how does that help with fitness and injury-prevention? Presentation to Sandy. Q12 (to Allan) : is there a big difference in what the French were doing while you were playing there to what we're doing here now? Q13 : regarding red cards for player-managers Q14 (general enquiry) : When a goalkeeper is taking a goal kick why do all the players of both teams go to the one side of the park? Q15 : Are we already in talks with some of our players regarding their contracts? Q16 : Next week we are playing "slightly weaker" opposition, will we get the chance to see some of the young boys (eg Slattery) who've not played this season? Q17 : (referring to last week's ref) Are QOS going to raise an official complaint re the poor standard of refereeing we appear to be seeing? Q18 : Have the heart monitors (supplied by the Trust) been beneficial?
Guest TOPFITTER
Supporters Representative nomination to the board of QOS There are now 83 confirmed shareholders, supporting the idea for a Supporter Representative. We would like to get over the symbolic 100 if possible, so if you wish to join us do so and if you can, let those who might be interested know. Thank-you.
