Guest
Robertson using Livingston as an example of financial propriety? Really? Is he that dumb?Has he looked at Livingston’s season on season debt accumulation? Does he think they only spend what their tiny crowds generate?Anyone question why Hopkin got out of there before having a job to go to?Anyone question why a guy released from prison after a six year sentence for cocaine dealing got a job there with zero qualifications as a coach, and is now their “assistant manager”? A guy who despite all other changes there, is the one who stays in post come what may?The last thing the world needs is another idiot holding up Livingston as an example of doing things right.Sooner or later, someone will expose the reality of what is going on there.
JessieField
Has Jordan Marshall signed for anybody yet? If we (and he) are still searching about, surely (unless we're too proud to ask) a deal could be mutually reached to re-sign him?

They're (Livingston) also close to signing David Goodwillie apparently.

I think the majority of fans would agree that he was decent for us and put some good performances in. Lets hope a deal can be made.

Ross County and Dundee United paying huge money for players Falkirk binned their youth academy so they will put all funds in to the first team so they will spend big . Partick and Dunfermline are paying players over £1000 a week . Robertson saying Queens Morton Ayr and Inverness all pay similar money . He is using Livi as a example of what can be done with a club with a small budget No wonder Joe Thomson and Mark Durnan signed for Dunfermline we could not get anywhere near £1000 a week . It is not just Naysmith who is finding it hard to sign players can make more than double what Queens or even Inverness can offer them Robertson's right though in the sense that only 1 team is guaranteed going up, the others flinging money to get to the playoffs don't have any guarantee of success.

Why is it always made out to be the Clubs fault if we can't get players to sign? How do you know the Club haven't been back in touch to try and sign Marshall again ? Maybe Marshall is considering other offers or maybe it's him who is too proud to go back on his decision to leave. Maybe Marshall made it abundantly clear that he would not consider coming back. All pure speculation of course but there is always more than one side to a story. It would be good if he did decide to re-sign but it was his decision to leave.
19QOS19
I'd take him back for sure but as I've said already, I think it speaks volumes that he hasn't been 'snapped up' yet.
