Monkey Tennis
We do famously merit a mention in the 'Porridge' movie of course.
Radford
I see our goalkeeper Zander Clark has just tweeted that he's hoping to get the paperwork tied up tomorrow on a loan deal that would see him move to Palmerston. Teaming up again with Mark Durnan who he played with at Elgin and in the youth sides at Saints. He's a good, imposing goalkeeper but badly lacks the experience he desperately needs I think you could argue. Saints have kept him on for three seasons now as part of the first team squad (in preference to Jonny Tuffey this summer) so clearly see something in him.

Chupacabra
Will Zander Clark be available to play on Saturday?
Monkey Tennis
Please be true. I'd take Zander Diamond instead of Antell. I'd have taken Jim Diamond, although I should have known better. Edited October 16, 2013 by Monkey Tennis

I thought loan deals couldn't be done outwith the window, although goalkeepers can be loaned in exceptional circumstances? How do we justify it to the SPFL?He's unlikely to play in the same team as Durnan, though, unless McIntyre changes his policy.
die hard doonhamer
Jim needs to get sent on loan himself now, if we have Clark in. McIntyre clearly doesn't think he is up to it yet, so there is no point him being there, especially with 2 ahead of him.
Skyline Drifter
I thought loan deals couldn't be done outwith the window, although goalkeepers can be loaned in exceptional circumstances? How do we justify it to the SPFL? The emergency loan system, slightly adapted from the SFL days, still exists. Rangers loaned Scott Gallagher to Airdrie and Andrew Mitchell to Annan after the window closed.
MB
According to the OS, Callum Antell is injured. I am sceptical.

Monkey Tennis
According to the OS, Callum Antell is injured. I am sceptical. Fair enough. If it's a means of protecting him from embarrassment (and of conning the authorities), best go along with it I say.

I guess if Antell is injured, that is an exceptional circumstance, which I didn't know about when I posted. I may have missed another rule permitting loan deals outside the registration period, though.
overthetop
Indeed. Antell has a 'bruised foot'. I imagine he dropped something on his foot at home!
Monkey Tennis
Indeed. Antell has a 'bruised foot'. Yes, sounds like a nasty injury. I can see it keeping him out of the first team picture for quite a while.
