Also gonna try a Forfinn style question:

Which player is this?

My latter may be considered an example of my former.

This may be (even?) more tenuous than my last one...

And this time I'm going for a dirty mark often being a brownish colour: Mark Brown.

DarvydAS SernAS...?

No dice.

By way of a wee clue, Spain's train of thought was on the right lines.

ETA:

Picture Q Clue: There is no clue in the name 'Steven Fletcher'.

Word Q Clue: Spain's answer (Post #5361) was along the right lines, just the wrong player.

ETA:

my visible mass of precipitation - my lump of rain that you can see - ma cloud.

Jeremy - a famous c**t called Jeremy, is Jeremy Kyle - Kyle.

Kyle MacLeod

Forfinn, I've edited my answer to include an explanation.

Very good, I just wanted to check you got all three elements of the clue. I was quite pleased with that one if I'm honest.

Scott Boyd, in so much as the picture is of a Scot, buoyed.

Perfect :)

I deliberately threw in Steven Fletcher so folk would think of Steven Saunders/Steven Ross, a wee red herring.

So it all went perfectly!

Glad you got it Forfinn, ABSOLUTELY NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE ELSE ON HERE... but you are the brains of our support, let's face it ;)

It's Mark Brown, isn't it?

No, wait! - Antonio Reguero?

No, wait! - Paul Quinn?

No, wait! - Steven Saunders?

No, wait! - Burgess?

No, wait! - Fraser?

No, wait! - Roy MacGregor?

So just the one question left at this stage; the clever words Forfinn style one.

Which player is this?

My latter may be considered an example of my former.

Clue being that Spain was on the right path with his interpretation of the question (see below), just the wrong player.

And this time I'm going for a dirty mark often being a brownish colour: Mark Brown.

I'm actually intrigued and determined to take this more seriously. The bad news for me, is I'm better (slightly) at thinking them up than I am at working them out! Anyway, we're talking about a current player here, are we?

Aye, current player.

Not sure how to give a clue without giving it away (I'm better at getting them than creating them!).

Basically, to disregard the smart-arsed mystique of the original question, his second name could be twisted into an example of his first name.

Its not too tenuous at all.

I promise this will make sense!
