Oscar Wilder
Adam Strachan was probably the most talented player or the player with the most talent I've ever seen in Glenafton Athletic Jersey. He was some boy, and i for one send condolences to Adams family and friends!
Satori.
Very sad news. The lad obviously had well documented problems but he was a pleasure to watch on the field. Rest in peace young man.

BANKIEBILL
A hugely talented player. Think that's what should be focused on and seems to be so far to be fair. Condolences to Adam's friends and family Edited July 10, 2022 by BANKIEBILL

Not sure who wrote that obituary posted by the OP but can't understand why it went on about personal problems/demons. Not the time to do so. paul-r-cfc
Why anyone would include that second paragraph is beyond me.That statement is a disaster. Pointing out an issue that nobody has raised. Utterly bizarre thought process.
Lurcer
The statement is an abhorrent, if your have nothing good to say, then say nothing. It’s almost like someone piggybacked onto to the poor man’s demise to settle a score. Sick ba5tard.
Sammo
A statement about loss of life should always be as positive and respectful as possible that one was not. Not the time to raise any questions of demons etc…

peasy23
I assumed it was by the Official Catchup podcast lot, given the intro.Yep, it was the first post I had seen on Twitter about it.
FairWeatherFan
It was the Official Catchup. In previous situations when Adam Strachan's name has been brought up for Team of the Decade type scenarios. It has usually led to twitter back and forths around the domestic abuse side of things.

They would have been far better writing nothing, claiming they know nothing about the circumstances of his death, then pontificating about the "inner demons" that caused it. And the self serving tripe about posting their take on his death because "It's the right thing to do", despite potential criticism. They're not the Times obituary page, they're a minor podcast and twitter page, silence would have been by far the better option.
