Stephen Malkmus
I fancy us to stick very few past these next week. Pleased that Deas will be back and hopefully Dodds takes the week to work out what his best starting XI is so he can stick with it for a while.
Sir Tarmo
With Deas back we are now getting closer to our best XI, although not quite. I respect Cove unlike our previous two insecure diddy opponents, but I have to go with 3-0 The Caley.
SandyCromarty
This will be a tough game, although we edged it in that 1 all draw Cove were worthy opponents, of the three part time clubs Cove will be the best.

What three part-time clubs? There’s only two - Queens Park have been full-time for a couple of seasons now.

CoveRangers1922
Coming into this off the back of a disappointing defeat we should have taken a point from (but didn't). That aside, this week we need to step up the recruitment and splash the cash as time is marching on, the squad is threadbare and our starting XI is weaker than last season as it stands. Definitely need a striker to partner Mitch as he's isolated up top himself. 4-1-4-1 doesn't really work for us. Should hopefully have Blair Yule back after a month out. His energy and drive in the middle will mean at least one of Leighton or Leitch/Masson will be rightly benched. Quicker we get all them warming the bench the better in my opinion. We're probably 3 starting XI players away from where we want to be. McIntyre's ability to recruit what we need is still doubtful. Longstaff most likely a squad filler. We have the experience and steel to still get results but it's a grind as it stands. We'll need to play much better this weekend coming to get a positive result.     Edited August 7, 2022 by CoveRangers1922
bdu98196
It'll be a draw. It has to be a draw. Cove haven't had a draw yet this season in the league, lets help them out with that
Thumper
I'm in Inverness this week so might pop along to this. Wouldn't mind Cove getting a proper doing before Ayr visit the week after. -
SandyCromarty
No updates on Max Ram so far, I thought he should be over the thigh injury by now .
RiG
Greg Aitken is the referee for this one. Already have a cranium detachment...

CoveRangers1922
Cove without Blair Yule for the 5th straight week. The update from the club is he'll likely be out for another 2 weeks. Big miss as he gives us energy and driving runs in the middle of the park. Robbie Leitch is back fit and I suspect he will play. No new signings this week coupled with a small squad makes for feeling like we're half built at present. We're not quite but definitely short of quality in key positions. We looked fairly comfortable at the back last week but lacked cutting edge going forward, especially in the 2nd half. Doesn't help Mitch being isolated up top by himself. Expecting a keenly fought and tough fixture. Bookies have Caley at evens, draw at 11/5 and Cove to win at 5/2. Edited August 12, 2022 by CoveRangers1922
CoveRangers1922
Potential change of shape for us today. Looks like a 5-4-1 to me. No word of Towler missing out at yesterday's pre-match interview but he doesn't feature in the matchday squad. Vigurs benched. Â
Stephen Malkmus
Can't believe the majority of our defence has chosen to go on strike on a matchday tbqhwy. The amount of injuries we're getting has probably not been helped by appointing a 12 year old as head of the medical department Edited August 13, 2022 by Stephen Malkmus

Sir Tarmo
The Caley back to our rightful permanent home of 2nd in the Championship.
SandyCromarty
Of the 4 goals the second was exceptional, a great team effort with really slick passing and a top class goal. Vigurs seems to have lost pace and he was back to his old niggling fouling ways. A good win for us with big attaboys for the team.
RiG
Gutted I missed this. Might stay away on Friday just to be on the safe side.
SandyCromarty
Worth mentioning that Logan was turned inside out by Daniel Mackay, Logan tried to look fancy but was beaten time after time, maybe he should try to get back to good old defending instead of trying to look the fancy trick player. Looks like age has caught up with him.
