What happened to the under soil heating at East End, is it out of action?

Given the fixture, expected crowd etc it really is a piss poor move having the inspection at midday. Maybe the groundsmen have been prepping for it and it’s just a precaution. Someone on dotnet saying if it was so bad then they’d get someone to come and check it first thing, suppose I’m clutching on to any hope I can find.

Could just be the trouble bit which is annoying, fingers crossed the pitch inspection is okay and the realise that the temperature is also to rise after noon as well.

Their boss - I’m only speculating and it could indeed be broken but if it’s human error it’s negligence.

Stop speculating. Nobody is going to have anything happen.

Heatings broken down.

Was that when Cowdenbeath were due to play Rangers? Sure they had a kettle out.

Fair enough. Annoying as was looking forward to the game but can’t be helped.

Sun’s out now so that should improve the chances of the game being on.

The drama will be the area in front of the main stand which doesn't get sun.

People might know more than me on this, but if the ground is frozen is there much you can do to thaw it out?

You can use heaters or heat lamps but no idea how long it takes and assume it’d be expensive.

Were frost covers used ?
