The Scotsman touting:

Lambert

Ross

Scott Brown

Martindale

Lennon, N

Coyle.

Stick to the rugby cuntos.

I'd hope we're at least considering the hipster/bullshitters' choice, Tam, (Thomas) Courts.

Owen Coyle would be one of the funniest appointments in history.  Make it so.

Hoping this was an oblique Richey Edwards reference, tbh.

I thought @Richey Edwards would have noticed it to be honest.

ETA: Although I don't think we'll regret sacking him any more than Glass or McInnes. Will all depend on if Cormack can luck out this time.

In my experience of our managerial appointments in the last 45 years, most have been a clusterfuck. Only a handful have been any good.

Still have fond memories of the 'Aberdeen Supporters Chief' on BBC Sportsound, suggesting to Kenny McIntyre that Eddie Howe should replace McInnes, with seemingly no awareness of Aberdeen's relative standing in the game, or the financial package that would be required to attract Howe.

I’ve got a mate like this. He will say things to me like “why didn’t  Kilmarnock try to get that Giroud on a free transfer?”.

Trying to make sense of this.....is a Brown Standard Fail a Jobby Brown or a Craig Brown (I note you used Moderate Fail for the Craig Brown era avoiding further confusion)

Aitken = success (League Cup Win)

Goodwin = FAIL

Of course, this depends on your success criteria..

My categorisation has a Brown standard fail is a jobby brown fail although I understand your confusion. Probably best ignored.

Oh Goodwin was an extreme fail I agree...Aitken saved us from relegation and did have that League Cup Final victory but left us in quite a dire state of affairs. I suppose the trophy win could be deemed successful though.

I was actually including McLeod prior to McNeill as a success.

Wilder now at 4/1

Would absolutely love that but I imagine just slightly out of reach

Could easily bag another championship gig

So if he could easily bag another Championship gig why has he not got any of the West Brom, Luton, QPR, Norwich, Cardiff or Blackpool jobs?

All those clubs have lost managers since Wilder left Middlesbrough.

I acrually think Wilder would be a very good appointment for us. Done well at clubs he's managed. Even Middlesbrough he won more than he lost and had a good FA cup run.
