parsforlife
He looked in agony, credit to the Montrose fans for also clapping him off.

Think he tweeted that he was ready for next week. Could've been very different. We shouldn't be in a position of mass panic if a CB gets injured.
broomiesniper
Decent game, I didn’t think there was overly much between the teams. Dunfermline took chances and we passed ours up, can’t afford to do that against the bigger teams in the league Edited February 4, 2023 by broomiesniper
da_no_1
Montrose were pretty decent to be fair. We took chances. They didn't
101
McPake also saying Breen was walking about after the game so that's positive.
PortyMo
All about taking chances. We had plenty but couldn't capitalise, Pars did. Hope the guy that got stretchered off is OK.
Heaton
Defence isn't looking as good as it has and now Breen might be out for a little while. Going to need to go with the best for of defence is attack. 3-3-4 next week Edited February 4, 2023 by Heaton
Chubbychops
Fisher looks a big loss. Fully expect Murray to arrive in the summer but what can we do for now. I think we should be signing two defenders. A CB and somebody who can play CB/LB.
CallumPar
First half was scrappy. Great header from Breen, but not much between the teams. Mehmet made a brilliant save from McAllister, after he beat Benedictus with a lovely bit of skill. Breen then stopped McAllister’s second effort on the line. Todd also had a decent effort that the keeper put out for a corner. Second half, I thought we were the better team and could have scored more. Todd couldn’t control the ball when played through, McCann had a fresh air swipe and we had a couple of other chances. Mehmet made a couple of good saves again though. Lovely second goal. Great play from Todd, great ball from McCann and Wighton got into the right area. Edited February 4, 2023 by CallumPar
Stoo61
Looks like we're all good....well less bad anyway
Scorge
Urgh, next, etc. The good stuff first: we did create chances and looked fine for the first half hour (don't think the Pars really woke up until then) and carried on scrapping right until the end after the game had gone. I know you should expect that anyway, but on a day like today where nothing really came off, it would have been easy to chuck it at 0-2. The bad and ugly: lack of an RB is still a problem, we're leaving our arses flapping in the breeze there for the rest of this season. Midfield still too easily bullied off the ball. Second goal should not have been allowed to happen, well moved though it was in the end. Biggest concern: I'm becoming increasingly unsure whether McAllister is a) rightly bemoaning lack of service or b) not being as clinical as we expect when he does get it. Came away today thinking 6th place is probably our lot this year. Mercifully got parked well enough to be on the M90 back up north within 5 minutes, small victories, etc [/carwanker] Edited February 4, 2023 by Scorge

Personal favourite was when McAllister charged right through the back of Hamilton. Ref correctly booked McAllister for it. Then when Hamilton got up (after receiving treatment), ref decided to book him as well. Genuinely no idea what that booking was for.

Be good if someone else could do the ‘donkey work’ and he’s then in the box to finish it off
Guest Wind Chime Jimmy
Took the win, but we are fuckin chronic on a finishing front. Clean sheet is an almost constant plus, this is as good as some extra goals. Team spirit is superb and McPake is thee most competent Manager in an age. But collective ability to score is fuckin shite, only weakness we have got. Sorry to have gone in a bit.

Bucuresti Par
Yeah Hamilton was probably booked for not keeping his mouth shut, he always in the referees ear, if he was the captain, he might get away with it more. He needs to cut down on this. That said, the most important thing was he played great, clear MOTM for me. It was a good game, Montrose can play and are pretty physical as well. We were pretty lucky to be ahead at half time, second half we were better and largely in control but Montrose kept plugging away and were always dangerous. A game of fine margins, Breen's excellent header and us surviving McAllister's double chance at the end of the first half the crucial moments that went our way.
