If he has admitted that he lost, he better not say that he's known from the start... even the thick as mince diehard Republicans would surely have the self respect to politically kick the keech out of him if they were to discover that he was feeding them BS in the lead up to Biden's inauguration.

There's also a memo circulating apparently but this is the video I'm referring to. Was made last week in Arizona. Apologies for the source, I was trying to quickly find a video link that would work.

Has Trump started his "if I lose, it can only be because of fraud!" nonsense yet? It worked with his base last time. They're convinced he was the victim of a conspiracy because.... well.... he told them so.

Trump hinting he'll pull out of the debate, doubt if he will, he's too mad for the ratings and a big show. The bit about Donna Brazil is a bit silly, she told Clinton there might be a question about water quality at a town hall in Flint, where there had just been a massive scandal about poisoned water.

Harris camp playing a blinder saying that Trump’s staff are scared of what he’ll do with an open mic and that they probably haven’t told Trump about the idea. They’re trying to bait him into it.

To be fair to them, about half of those eligible to vote won't bother. Not really much better, but at least they aren't actively voting for Hitlerin' Donald Trump, and you can understand the reluctance to participate in a system where they're guaranteed to end up with either a turd sandwich or a slightly less salty turd sandwich.

2020, 66.8% voted versus 59.9% in the UK’s most recent election.

As usual, we're politically about a decade behind America. Presidential elections almost always hover around a 50%-60% turnout, but you guys have been fighting against actual fascism lately, so there's been a wee dunt in turnout by people who normally couldn't bother their arse, but really don't fancy seeing folk in prison for using contraception or millions rounded up and put in camps (for starters).

On the other hand, we're normally at about 65%-75% turnout at General Elections, but the choice this time was between an openly corrupt and incompetent ruling party who'd started leaning towards fascism, a proper fascist party, and another unpopular party who everyone had known was going to win bigly for a couple of years and had actively avoided giving anyone a reason to vote against them.

In ten years or so, it might switch again as we struggle to avoid a fascist takeover, and the US has pointless show elections like Russia or Hungary. Fun times ahead for all!

The last GE in the UK is not a good example of turnout.  People totally disillusioned with the governing party and not in the least bit enthusiastic about the government in waiting.  It will bounce back to 67%-68% in 2029.

Seems likely, but it was the appropriate comparison for the comment. U.S. voting numbers have been creeping up since about 1972.

The DNC tried and failed to remove Stein from the ballot in Wisconsin.

Barring all their political opponents from running is an interesting way to defend democracy.

If you live in the US the only “moral” thing to do is not vote.

Trump repeatedly shitting on America's military and intelligence institutions is actually one of his most (only?) endearing qualities.

She'll be president of what's left of the place in twenty years or so.

One can only hope…she’s gone from being a spring factory worker, living with grandma, never having driven on a motorway never having flown anywhere to controlling a media business. She has had the intelligence to hire experts to advise her, and is capitalizing on her (temporary) fame to sock away a nest-egg. She is literally the American dream…yep, in more ways than one.
