Presidential elections almost always hover around a 50%-60% turnout, but you guys have been fighting against actual fascism lately, so there's been a wee dunt in turnout by people who normally couldn't bother their arse, but really don't fancy seeing folk in prison for using contraception or millions rounded up and put in camps (for starters). On the other hand, we're normally at about 65%-75% turnout at General Elections, but the choice this time was between an openly corrupt and incompetent ruling party who'd started leaning towards fascism, a proper fascist party, and another unpopular party who everyone had known was going to win bigly for a couple of years and had actively avoided giving anyone a reason to vote against them. In ten years or so, it might switch again as we struggle to avoid a fascist takeover, and the US has pointless show elections like Russia or Hungary.
