In fact, Johnson just said that Congress would get to it AFTER the election, a couple of weeks after funding runs out. They also refused additional FEMA funding. Meanwhile, DeSantis is refusing calls from the White House about a disaster declaration (has to be requested by the Governor) and refused to join Biden touring some of the hard hit areas of his State… And, of course, the minor fact that Harris has no role in this, since Biden is the President and the Republicans are the ones blocking a lot of the necessary aid. TxRover Posted October 10 Share Posted October 10 Trump campaign has failed to meet both Sept 1 and Oct 1 deadlines to sign agreements to allow transition planning, give office space from GSA, etc. Until agreements are signed and clearances approved, the members of the transition team for each campaign can’t work on the process or access resources and agencies. The Sept 1 documents still aren’t complete, and none of the Oct 1 documents have been submitted, and this is despite the person that lead Biden’s transition team in 2020 being in charge of Trump’s effort.
