TheBigGuy
Kilsyth well worthy of their victory today. The left winger seemed to be having a field day with United's defence. Nice little set up

Nice little set up Can't argue with the result, from kick off Kilsyth were on the front foot and unsettled us early with the pace of the number 7,his movement on the wing and cutting inside caused us problems throughout, getting back to 3-2 you are looking to press for the equaliser but never had a sniff and the red card didn't help....frustrating .. Not a fan of cages ..set up is nice but no Grub on sale ....very poor

That pitch will have been heavy in those conditions and difficult to play football on. That didn't look like the normal big keeper for Kello. Did you have one of their steak pies? Wonderful fare.

Went for a pie at half time to find out they had sold out. Devastating.

Truly great pie and great value too

BAFCyellowandblack
BELLSHILL 2-0 KILSYTH A good win for the hill that keeps the unbeaten start to the season going not anywhere near as good as we can and have been recently but dug in to get the win bit of a scrappy game with both teams showing plenty of effort and fight without many clear cut chances being created first goal with a bit of controversy as to wether or not the ball had crossed the line but the ref had a good view of it and made the call only for the away team to say he had went to there dressing room at half time to apologise for the decision which I find a bit bizarre a second goal was added right on half time with our young up and coming centre half Donnie Wilson firing home after a bit of a stramash in the box great to see a crowd pushing over 300 in with all the kids and season ticket holders it made for a great atmosphere inside the ground now onto next week and another home game against ardeer in the cup ️️️

You doing well for numbers or was it augmented with no Ugly sisters or Motherwell games this weekend?

We have somewhere in the region of 400 kids playing for our academy teams and each one gets a season ticket to attend all league games...naturally, they don't all come, but the ones that do tend to bring a family member with them. We are regularly getting 200plus crowds to our games, but yesterday with no top flight football to contend with seen a bigger turnout than usual. Bottom line is that, there is an appetite within Bellshill to have a team the town can get behind.
bc57
Since new management arrived at Lanark we've had 3 wins and 1 draw in the league, beaten 3 teams from higher divisions in the cup, with 1 loss to Craigmark. Defence tightened up considerably and wee Chucky Watt back amongst the goals and getting fitter. Big improvement from first 5 games when we took 2 points and conceded 12 goals. Very much looking forward to a new experience at Threave on Saturday.
Craig fae the Vale
Bellshill Athletic 2-1 Vale of Leven Unfortunate not to take a point today as a late (very unlucky) own goal sees us fall to defeat at the unbeaten league leaders. Good game of football to watch, just unfortunate we were on the wrong side of it today. Great welcome and hospitality at Rockburn Park this afternoon. A very well run club and look forward to returning the welcome in the new year.
GroundHoppingBear
That was a bit nuts in the second half at Port Glasgow v Irvine Vics. Strain shouldn’t have punched the boy but the behaviour of a Port ex player in particular and some fans was absolutely embarrassing. Three red cards, three goals and a really good performance by Ben Strain until his sending off. Well worth the 6 quid.
Father Ted
Gow 1 Greenock 3 What a waste of a drive to Greenock and back. Poor show from Gow. A freak goal and a wind assisted worldie saw us 2-0 down. Pulled one back from free kick. 2-1 at half time. Looked the better team in second half but couldn't get the ball in the net. Greenock caught us with a late one. All in all under par performance. Must do better.

BAFCyellowandblack
Bellshill 2 - 1 vale of leven another good win for Bellshill this time fighting back from a goal down at half time to run out deserving 2-1 winners hard fought game played in good aggressive but fair spirits first half saw vale go in ahead from a looping header from a freekick with Bellshill getting in good areas but not showing the quality and the keeper having a few good saves second half was more like it mostly Bellshill on the front foot and the equaliser came from a superb volley from ‘tiny’ Newton a deserved second was then chalked off wrongly for offside an absolute wild call from the ref but the winner did come when a jack Currie rocket clipped the vale player as it flew past the stranded vale keeper the unbeaten run goes on and back to cup duty next week ️️
