Whitletts fought harder and wanted it more which is worrying for Buffs fans. Arguably, they had more to lose, being in the relegation zone.

Blantyre will be kicking themselves at the points they dropped against us. They went 3-1 up with 7 minutes left, we then went down to 9 men but grabbed a draw deep into stoppage time.

glensmad
A bit of a top and bottom split is beginning to appear in the league table now. I reckon the top 8 all still have hopes of promotion (with varying degrees of optimism), while the bottom 7 are all still in the dreaded relegation mix. Possibly only Renfrew are in a bit of "mid table obscurity", but even they might get sucked into the bottom equation due to the number of games they have already played compared to everyone else. Johnny Sox
Can't disagree with any of that. Hard to see anyone below Ashfield involved in the race to go up. No doubt end of season fixture log jam will have an effect top and bottom.

A bit of a contradiction there, lol. For starters, Johnstone Burgh are below Ashfield, on the same points but with a game in hand.
funky monkey
It's a tight league. Anyone's guess which teams will prevail. Buffs have hit the top, but given the number of games in hand kicking around, there are no guarantees. A lot of football to be played.
peasy23
The form table says a lot, Ashfield and Burgh are flying at the moment with 16 points out of 18, next best are a handful of teams with 10 points, including Kilbirnie who are climbing their way to safety. Lots of teams taking points off each other.

peasy23
I've noticed the odd glitch in the system, e.g. Whitletts with 9 points from 18 should be above Cambuslang with 8 points. It appears to sort teams based on the number of losses first. Edited January 22 by peasy23

As @glensmad said after Saturday, they must be the most up and down team around. Think they've been in the predictor fixtures five times this season and I haven't yet been able to get their result correct.
glensmad
We have a very young squad, so that naturally brings unpredictability. We started the season very well and led for a couple of months, but we've hit a wee up and down patch. Yes, we've been hit by injuries to important players as well, but all teams suffer from that so we're not making that a reason for the up and down results. We're still in the promotion mix and, if we can find some consistency, we've got a chance to still be in the running come April and May. But we're a work in progress with a new young squad under a new management team, and we're ahead of what my expectations were at the start of the season.
