And Ineos have went backwards in cycling (now very much in the second tier behind Visma LaB, UAE, Quickstep, Decathlon etc) and their time at Nice hasn't exactly been great either. It's almost as like they don't really have much of an idea about sport and should stick to petrochemicals... Ratcliffe is an asset stripper. He has no particular credential in Petrochemicals either. One look at the absolute fucking nick his Grangemouth complex is in will make that abundantly clear

His political opinions get far too much airtime. Unlike Liverpool had, United don't have a manager in a strong enough position to negate the effect of bad PR generated on the business side e.g FSG and John Henry's daft idea to support the European Superleague. More importantly, saddened to hear of his neglect where folk are making their living. Edited June 23 by Red Kite

DukDukGoose
Will never cease to amaze me just how many folk claim they'd easily turn down £100m+ for kicking a bag of air whilst never actually being offered it.

What a season it's going to be. Missed this last week. I had my doubts. I'm one of those who sometimes thinks the format has gone a bit stale but I'll tell you what, I've been proved wrong. No spoilers but I was taken aback. There's some genuine surprise fixtures in there that I just didn't expect. They've done a great job IMO.

LondonHMFC
Lucas Paqueta looks like he may be heading back to Brazil, a far cry from the discussed £85 million transfer to Man City. The case against him must be fairly damning.
