I hope for Sauchie that have at least a couple of weeks away from home now to try and let the park recover a bit...

Only 3 home games left for them and next one in 3 weeks so maybe they thought the pitch sacrifice with a big crowd was worth it...

This guy has travelled from Braintree to see a game of football and can’t name one of the two teams playing correctly.

He did actually see ELMW play, as he went to Ochilview later for their game v Stirling Uni.

At least the clubs might have made a bit of cash out of the weekend. Next year they can all go and hop about the picturesque cages of the West of Scotland League Division 4..

Think there's still a good few years of EOS grounds to be visited to allow the WOS clubs to prepare for the hoppers...

Decent crowds for the hop then, I tend to do my own thing in Scotland (usually on holiday) i enjoy the area, grounds , games, and a pint or two in the local. All non Lge is run by volunteers, so don't expect progs, team sheets or a 3 course meal at the pie hut. I continue my break probably at Musselburgh tonight.

Looking Forward – GroundhopUK (wordpress.com)

Scotland 14-16 March
Friday: Cumbernauld Colts
Saturday: Harthill – West Calder – Bathgate Thistle – Albion Rovers
Sunday: Linton Hotspur

Usual start from Cardiff, pick ups on the M4, Hillingdon, M40, Birmingham International, Norton Canes, Holmes Chapel and M6 service areas. Like the NWCL, this trip is always extremely popular and will be open for pre-booking shortly. If the demand is there, we’ll ra second coach. Fife for 2026 and Edinburgh for 2027 is the advance plan by the way!

I expect GUK consider 'Edinburgh' as synonymous with 'Lothian' there tbf.

Is the all you can eat carvery still on at Broadwood Farm? I doubt I'd  make the final whistle, never mind the ko.

Was rotten last time we were in. Used to really enjoy it there too.

Broadwood? What a rotten choice. The rest are all fine though.

Apart from Broxburn don't think there's any other grounds in that part of the world with floodlights that haven't already been done.

Oh right, looked through your list again, didn't expect them to be that far down.

Running out of east grounds with floodlights! Will be getting dark at Bathgate...
