Michael W
Get it right up the Saudi sportwashing project. Oh, it's the Qatar sportwashing project that scored. Ah well, f**k Newcastle all the same.
GTG_03
Tremendous from the ref at the end there. Mccoist has been bumming up to Newcastle the whole night. Filling his 'house jock' role well. Get it right up you Newcastle
Ro Sham Bo
If Jenas thinks it's a bitter pill to swallow then by default I find it absolutely delicious.
Venti
Funny the GIRUY Newcastle posters were the ones saying GIRFUY PSG a season ago...
Zetterlund
It's at the point now where just blootering the ball towards opposition players in the box and hoping it ricochets off a hand is a viable strategy to win a game.

Gibby82
A bitter pill to swallow is having your head separated from the rest of your body for fancying other blokes, Jermaine. Though never a pen, tbf. Edited November 28, 2023 by Gibby82
Hedgecutter
Based on tonight, the whole concept of 'ball to hand' is clearly a fallacy, right?

DrewDon
The game’s gone. The game has actually, officially gone.
Alert Mongoose
It probably has no bearing on the validity of the penalty decision but I would have given it. Probably have given him a red card as well tbf
accies1874
Another cruel blow for the "VAR works on the continent" losers
Steelly
Got to win tonight or that's us out. I'm not confident at all. I can see Zaha scoring and putting us out. -
Bairnardo
I'd like to add re Eddie Howes bleating about the referee overturning his original decision.... As is becoming the norm, the referee basically ducked the decision knowing that VAR would pull it up. The clear way around the clear and obvious burden that fans and clubs should be battering them with, is simply to make no decision and allow someone else to referee the game by TV. Which is the worst of all worlds, and increasingly what we're getting.

I don't think I've heard Jenas ever complete a sentence without a cliche in it. "A bitter pill to swallow" "He's almost hit that TOO well" "You'll get 10 free goals a season making that run" All out of his mouth last night. Simpleton of a man.

Bairnardo
I've not watched Galatasaray for a while, has that Stadium undergone some serious upgrades or is it new? I remember theirs always being intimidating, but not that big. Also, pleasing to see McTominay back in to being trusted after Ten Hags point making predictably fell on its arse.
