ShaggerG Posted August 31, 2023 Share Posted August 31, 2023 As a neutral, it appeared to me that the goalie was blowing Meggison an imaginary kiss, wasn't the face movement that would be needed to spit IMO, although it's obviously difficult to tell exactly. Also, rather than show the ref. the evidence, Meggison seemed at great pains to wipe the 'spit' from his face ASAP.
