Rangers v Celtic - The Old Allocation Derby

Recommended Posts

No matter how well it was struck, the 27 inch circumference ball making it's way through the 3 inch gap between Joe Hart's hands is absolutely peak Joe Hart.

Really good first half an hour. Arse cheeks games last few years have been turgid shite, but this has been entertaining, and both teams very, very lucky not to have conceded as that VAR call was really weak, and Kyogo's missed sitters.

So VAR says you can't beat your opponent to winning the ball and he runs into you 😆 fucking laughably bad

Football is no longer a contact sport. Breath on someone too heavily and it's a free kick these days.

Watched that 3 times and just don't see how that was a foul.

The only possible explanation is that they deem Dessers' placing his foot between Lagerbielke and the ball to be an attempt to trip or impede his ability to play the ball.

But I can't agree with that - he wasn't lunging or breaking stride.

How’s it not a foul? Defender took the last touch and striker stops him from taking another one before he takes the ball.

Miscontrolled the ball.

Defender kicks the back of the striker's leg.

For me it could have gone either way and VAR should not get involved.
