If you're going to have a left back who shits out of challenges then your keeper and centre halves need to have a contingency plan for what happens when balls get sent horizontally along the six yard line. maybe something like jumping on it like a live hard grenade, or even better maybe looking for nearby footballers and trying to stop them getting to it instead of just watching it get picked up and whacked in. Anyway, this was vindication that Bullen's new system works so long as the opponent is shite and the strikers remember how to find the net.
