17-6 to the Santa Clara 49ers at HT. the home side have dominated the time of possession. Our inability to get off the field on 3rd down has been the biggest factor in this game. Purdy hasn’t even been that good and they still have a 2 score lead.

On a positive it’s our best 1st half of the season 👍🏻

111 passer rating for the Santa Clara 49ers against the New Jersey Giants.

Good game overall I thought. Giants posed some different problems in defence than the Rams and Steelers. Was good to see us able to adjust to a team determined to blitz but also take away the flats when possible.

Nice to see Mitchell get plenty of touches, and Deebo looks back to his old self. Ronnie Bell looks like he has potential; great tackle for a WR.

The juggernaut rolls on.

Certainly improvements to be made on offense, but even not fully firing they got 30 points on the board. Some daft penalties too, most of the yards on the Giants TD drive came from two penalties.

A few points from the 49ers win.

They scored 30 or more points for the 6th straight regular season game, tying the best any team has managed over the last 10 years.

McCaffrey scored a TD for the 10th straight game, equalling Jerry Rice's franchise record.

I was a bit worried about Robbie Gould being let go, and there was a bit of stick about using a 3rd round pick on a kicker, but Jake Moody is 9/9 on PATs and 9/9 on FGs thru the first 3 games.

Lions take the lead with a 37yd FG!!!

Kind of disappointing that it was a normal FG attempt, getting used to Dan Campbell’s batshit mental 4th down plays!!!

Chargers just can't stay out of 3rd down, which is a problem because they are shite at converting 3rd downs.

Been a running theme for years. They never throw the ball beyond the line of gain until they are behind and have no option. So far Moore's O looks every bit as conservative as the stuff Lombardi was pilloried for, just that in between the 90'odd dump-offs, digs, and bubble screens, they do take the odd shot down the field.
