They even have a Fife club in the league now. So many clubs based in their area now play in the Caley. Merger with the SP seems a bit strange but I guess both leagues are desperate for new clubs. Tbf to that Fife Club (Kincardine), they've always traditionally played in the SDAFA. They moved to the Fife after covid when it looked like the SDAFA would fold. The area of Fife they play in is arguably closer to the SDAFA clubs as well. ie if the played in the KOFAFA Premier their closest rivals would be 20 miles down the road compared to Tullibody and Alva at 5 miles. I know they've looked into moving to the SMAFA before as they train Falkirk and actually play a lot of their games on 4G at Alloa but not sure they would get accepted with the travelling distance

Brad Bobley
Quarter final draw now confirmed: Annbank v Garrowhill Balgonie Scotia v Steins Greenock HSFP v Cupar Sandys v Glenburn Ties to be played on Easter Saturday, the 30th of March... The less said about that scheduling, the better. I fancy an Annbank victory, followed by 3 away wins.

Be very afraid. I have a source very, very close to the club who tells me that they have a weapon that they have never used before. He’s waiting patiently to be unleashed, and when he does it won’t be a pretty sight for the opposing team.

Brad Bobley
Semi finals: Sandys vs Garrowhill Thistle 22nd April - 8pm - New Douglas Park & Steins Thistle vs Cupar Hearts 26th April - 7:30pm - Falkirk Stadium A large 'luck of the draw' element, but the only West team left from the GGP. No West Caley teams, no West SPAFA teams, no Ayrshire teams. A big turn up for the books, that is. Another season where the four semi finalists are from four different league associations. Not great but it is what it is. A lot of Women's and Men's Senior games coming up throughout mid-end of May so probably one of the only slots available.
HibeeJibee
Since returning to Hampden in 2016 the Amateur final AFAICS mostly got to use the day after the Scottish but it's now used for Womens... last 4 will have been midweek (Wed, Tue, Wed, Thu).
ammyo1
tonight’s the night, the top prize in amateur football. both teams expected to bring cracking crowds with them. can garrowhill continue the fairytale and pull off one of the greatest shock scottish cup wins in history? or can cupar hearts create their own bit of history by becoming the sixth team to win back to back scottish cups. sure to be a great game.
