Jambomo
It’s just guesswork at this point. It’s so subjective as to how far back you go, who is or isn’t interfering etc. Refereeing is always subjective but it almost looks like it’s harder for refs now, because the quest for never making incorrect decisions is just putting every little aspect under the microscope.

flyingscot
At least broadcast the VAR chat once it's a check. That didn't seem like that hard of a check either- draw lines check offside and get on with it.

In fairness, Spain have been ahead in the game on expected goals (xG) and expected threat (xT) and field tilt has been in their favour too.
Busta Nut
That looked offside. I am happy it wasn't given as off but that looked so offside. Norwegian 95th min equaliser now please!

Brother Blades
Norway will equalise in 89th minute and there’ll be 14 mins of stoppage time! Just to make us sweat.
Monkey Tennis
What a bloody nonsense. Thank Christ I follow club football at a shit level. (Although, if Queens could be a little less shit at said shit level, that would be nice.)

Anyway, good for us! Come on the Norway 90+6 equaliser! He must have been just onside but I thought he was off there as well.

A button is pressed in the VAR booth every time a new APP begins. When a goal is scored, the video is only checked up to the point the button was last pressed. Still subjective to some extent, but it’s a bit like a hazard perception test when learning to drive. Practice it for a while and most fans/players would agree when the last ‘attack’ effectively began.

Jacky1990
Lads.... Who gives a f**k about VAR. We are 30mins plus stoppage time away from qualifying with two games to spare.

Tartan Dave
I have contradiced myself a few times on the subject but I’m firmly in the get it to f**k camp now. There will be mistakes and they’ll be annoying but it’s easier to accept

Yes it’s meant to be, but we’ve definitely seen variety in how far back decisions go.
