Dirty Sanchez
Another that springs to mind was a league game that ended in a draw round about the time we won the League Cup. Two big referreeing calls went against both sides that day so, naturally, with the honest mistakes shared out equally you've got zero problem moving on from it. Shortly afterwards, Pat Bonner, discussing Celtic's recent form, refers to "the draw in Paisley", then mutters "of course they had the two decisions go against them that day" I always wondered, had he already completely erased the two that went in their favour from his memory, or did he offset them with two decisions that he saw go in Rangers' favour in a completely different game that didn't even involve Celtic or St Mirren, as per the logic that you sometimes hear being applied? That was the day I learned that Pat's gentlemanly demeanor didn't necessarilly mean that he wasn't as much of a clown as anyone else on there.
LuboMoravcik
3 hours ago, Molotov said: Eddie Smith was also the referee that sent off Will Haining https://www.thecelticwiki.com/2008-08-10-celtic-1-0-st-mirren-spl/ “Referee Smith decided that the striker had been tugged from behind by the defender, who was shown a red card, although television pictures suggested that Vennegoor of Hesselink had been doing his own share of holding. Howard saved Robson's spot kick with his legs but could not prevent the ball spinning a matter of inches over the line before the goalkeeper swiped it clear. The 10-man Buddies almost equalised immediately, but an O'Donnell snap-shot flew wide of the far post.“ Basically Eddie Smith should never have been allowed to referee any games involving his beloved Celtic. No proof then.

Worst decision ever . Should have been a St Mirren free kick and would have certainly been a free kick if things were the other way round .

djchapsticks
In all honesty, I can see Celtic supporters left and right on Twitter condemning the board for taking this action against the GB but it's pretty well known and well publicised that they've been engaging in reckless and shite behaviour away from home and at home in Europe for a long time now. Celtic are footing fines in Europe for their actions and are now at a stage where presumably other clubs and stewards are complaining about them relentlessly. They are a group who clearly think they are above policing and decide that they'll break and enter to gain access to stadiums and if they are a danger to their fellow supporters and those who work matchdays in and around stadiums Celtic play at, then it's 100% the right decision to bin the c***s when they are getting too big for their boots. The long and short is don't be a c**t and you'll not get made a c**t of. This applies to all ultras groups. GB are just the largest and most organised.

You say organised, but I’ve always thought that they never really thought their name through properly, failing to realise it would get shortened to GB

I heard someone say a measly 300, but I’m not sure if that’s just the seats where you can actually see the pitch.
Portmahomack Saint
After Sunday's fiasco against Hearts when Goldson dropped like a ton of bricks as Haring was removing a wee bit of oose from the back of his shirt, we need to brace ourselves for some dodgy VAR and ref decisions as usually happens in these games.
