WattersIsGod
Current weather forecast looks good for the terracing. Yet to see us lose from that vantage point so hopefully brings a bit of luck. Looking forward to this.
Rory
Are we able to park at Morrisons for the game? I'm coming straight from work so only have 5/10 minutes leeway! Was at the ground last year for a Stirling Uni game and parked at the Peak but guessing that'll be full for Stirling games

Park in the disused units next to Morrison's (that's where I usually park) absolutely no problem there. The Peak car park is always rammed with gym users etc etc, it's best avoided.

Anywhere in that retail park really.
Alloamad
Massive game for us today and Rices future. Last week was totally unacceptable and if the players can’t show fight this week in the derby game it points to a lost dressing room for me. Although as professionals they should be giving their all week in week out, whether they are happy or not with the gaffer.
Dink
I'm unfortunately missing today's game after my wife broke her wrist during the week. Fingers crossed Ally Roy is fit as I think that we really struggle without him (or Luke Donnelly but I don't think there's any chance of LD being available) to knit together the midfield and the attack. In the two previous games this season we've barely troubled the Stirling defence but hopefully the front line we put out today will be very different from earlier in the season. As others have said if we don't win then there are massive question marks over Brian Rice's future.

Rory
Fair play to the Alloa casuals for the atmosphere, but we really can't be singing what a shitty home support!
LeodhasXD
That was a braw game. Wee bit of bite in the atmosphere, two goals, a clean sheet. Looking forward to next week now.
Rory
My highlight might have been the Stirling young team dropping the firework and running away from it. We looked better at the back today, moving Taggs to RCB made a difference for us getting forward. Devine with a good block too, good for him that he's managing to stay fit so far. Think PJ helped with the defence, could hear him organising it and telling the CBs who to pick up. Is Ogayi injured?
Magic Hat
Think that was last chance saloon for me, with Rice and he came out of it with all guns blazing. If you are under pressure, that is the game to win and well done to the manager and team for probably our best performance of the season. Some really good performances for me Buchanan, Devine, Roberts, Roy and Coulson were all excellent. Well done Alloa for bouncing back from last week's debacle to put Stirling firmly in their place. Kevchenko
Exactly the sort of reaction that was needed after last week, a win and good performance to go with it. Huge having Ally Roy back and good decision from Rice to bring Quinn Coulson in out the cold. That was the type of defensive performance we need from Devine and Neill regularly, it freed up Taggs to push forward more. No failures, but I thought Kurtis Roberts put everything in to today. Absolutely burst a gut in that midfield.
WattersIsGod
The chicken and haggis pie was good. I don't think I can think of a single other positive thing to say. Worst I've seen us play in a year I reckon
BB_Bino
As supporters, we have praised this group of players to the hilt and we’ve got behind them and have backed them in everything they do. I’ve been on here time and time again, full of praise for everyone involved in the onfield department of the team, but today was absolutely woeful. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes, we get no news from the club, so there was maybe injury’s at play, but in my opinion, Young got his starting 11 wrong today and soooo many players were off it. I think he got his subs right, however possibly who they were replacing, slightly wrong. It’s seems confidence has taken a bit of a blip, but Alloa will not have an easier opening 45 minutes this season, and we have the bar and the post to thank for only going in 1-0 down at Half Time, as Alloa skelped them 3 times. Take nothing away from Alloa, I thought they were organised, they fought for everything and they played some good stuff at times and were well worthy of the 3 points but we did not help ourselves. The forever reliable Milne and Hilson, well off it, Leitch well off it and over played it (but how the hell that free kick went against him for his head injury, I’ll never know), Thomson, Dunsmore and Clark as well had shockers…..I just didn’t get it. The lads didn’t lack effort but we were often sloppy, gave the ball away cheaply and allowed Alloa to play by given them so much space, especially in Midfield, and it was as bad as I have seen us play in a long long time, in fact, had it not been for the chicken and haggis pie, I could have cried. We looked like a middle of the road League 2 side today. Pains me to say it, but well done Alloa, Rice has probably bought himself a little longer, however I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this is not the start of the slide for us.

It’s not. It started in September against Annan. It’s now 5 defeats in the last 7 games.
WattersIsGod
Sloppy and lacking confidence would sum it all up well. I thought we could have played all day without scoring. Tough games coming up as well.
unitedbino
Pretty abysmal performance. Really worried about the lack of goals. Today felt like a turning point in our season. I now think this is a slog. We're getting sucked in.

printer
Again couldn't make the game today (for family reasons), but obviously delighted that we got a good win and also seemed to have played so well. I was encouraged when I saw Ally Roy was starting; he's become such an important player so quickly. Was concerned Taylor Steven was out, especially as Quinn Coulson hasn't really looked the part this year. Perhaps he has impressed in training recently. In any case his inclusion seems to have worked. Clearly a huge result for Rice, and we need to push on from here with a run of wins/performances.
