Clearly a trick question, considering "aye" isn't available as an option.

I say "aye" or "yes" depending on where I am/who I'm talking to, but it's not a conscious decision. When I'm having a local conversation with local people, it's the former. During my many conversations with HRH Queen Elizabeth II, I obviously used "get tae f**k, ya manky auld hoor...erm, I meant yes, Your Majesty".

Aye, both in speech and in text messages. I run a festival in Holland that is entirely in English and I say aye there too. 

But no, I'm not one of those professional Scotsmen tryhards on twitter or tiktok who write in weegie patois. Awful.
