Was quite the howler from that jobber Murray to make a gesture to The Caley fans after going 1-0 up, only to then concede 3 goals in 9 minutes and lose.

Was he the number 6 that could barely run at the equaliser? Looked like he was running through treacle.

Yes. Looked like he could barely shift his fat arse a few yards. Not a great day for him.

Haven't read through this thread since before the match and I have no intention of doing so (Monday mornings are bad enough).

Here's my take on the match without having watched the highlights yet.

We were well on top early on and were putting some nice moves together without being spectacular.  Going 1-0 ahead was probably a fair reflection on the game up to that point.

Caley's first goal came from absolutely nothing with our defence left completely flat footed by a decent through ball.  The problem of playing a back 3 with only 1 (clearly not 100% fit) centre back and midfielders filling in at the full back positions.  Even then there were still a couple of opportunities to stop Samuel but we really just can't defend at the moment.

We then proceeded to completely implode.  Caley looked likely to score every time they came forward and our attacking players couldn't string 2 passes together (and their first touch was awful).  The second and third goals were completely preventable with a semi-competent defence.  If you're heading the ball in a defensive area, don't header it back towards the penalty spot!!!!  Also, perhaps try marking the guy who's already scored two goals when he's on the edge of the six yard box.

The changes for the second half made a big difference but I felt any chance of getting anything disappeared when Hamilton went off.  We never really looked like breaking down a stubborn Caley defence once the CB's no longer had to deal with Hamilton.

There's no doubt we got exactly what we deserved from that game and the one comfort is that Ian Murray at least seemed to see what the rest of us did based on his Raith TV interview.  Whether or not he does something about it remains to be seen.
