Hibs v St.Johnstone

Recommended Posts

Fish has got away with a couple of really daft things early in this game - he fell over looking for a free kick and basically picked the ball up right at the start, but somehow it was only given as a throw in? Then he clipped Sidibeh miles off the ball which would almost certainly have been a yellow card, but luckily for him the offside flag went up.

All very Gavin Gunning type stuff.

A couple of breaks with VAR somehow not giving a penalty for the Mitov incident and a dreadful touch by le fondre but defensively fine.

Sibedh has done well occupying the centre halves but need more from the other attacking players. Two wing backs need to be better and braver on the ball too.

Just get Kimpioka on for Clark and have him and Sidibeh run at Fish.

Keltjens passing has been appalling so far. Kucheriayvi invisible when we're in possession. Lacking creativity. Just the usual.

What's the crack with the amount of litter on the pitch?

A lot coming in from the gap in between the stands too. Stewards down there can barely stand up with the wind.

Wish we could win possession from our own throw ins occasionally. Probably do better if we let Hibs take them all.
Happens every week.

Aye it's just the same old really. Sit in, hope our opponents can't manage anything, see if we can score from nothing and if not take the point.

We don't seem to actually participate fully in games until we're behind

We’d be an average mid-table side if we had decent full backs.

Robinson and Kjeltens’ use of the ball is awful.  Wonder if we were always planning on playing the 4-4-2 or if Gordon’s injury forced Levein’s hand?
