topcat(The most tip top)
Has anybody analysed the whole home and away fixture situation after the split i think we’re due two home games and we’ve only hosted St Mirren and Rangers once each but if Dundee make the cut they’re due a trip to Tynecastle as well
DC92
I think if Motherwell or Hibs make it, there'll be 4 teams in the top 6 who've had 17 home games, meaning someone will get an extra one. If it's Dundee, everyone will get 19 home and away.
The Master
I’m going to go out on a limb and say no matter which half Dundee are in, our final game will be away.
Sergeant Wilson
I haven't, but I'm outraged. We're a laughing stock in Europe. We should have bigger leagues and summer football.
FTOF
After next week's away game against the green bigots, we'll have played 16 home games and 17 away games. We should definitely have the green bigots and Killie at home, with the Blue bigots and Hearts away. If Hibs or Motherwell make it, then we should have them at home. If Dundee make it, then we're due to play them away, but we're due three home games. So one of us will lose out. I think........... RandomGuy.
So as it stands I think it would be.. 3 home games top half - Celtic, Dundee, St Mirren 2 home games top half - Hearts, Kilmarnock, Rangers 3 home games bottom half - Aberdeen, Livingston, Ross County 2 home games bottom half - Hibernian, Motherwell, St Johnstone So I think it would be... Top half For Celtic: Home: Dundee, Hearts, Kilmarnock Away: Rangers, St Mirren For Dundee: Home: Hearts, Kilmarnock, Rangers Away: Celtic, St Mirren For St Mirren: Home: Hearts, Rangers, Kilmarnock Away: Celtic, Dundee For Hearts: Home: Rangers, Kilmarnock Away: Celtic, Dundee, St Mirren For Kilmarnock: Home: Rangers, St Mirren Away: Dundee, Hearts, Celtic For Rangers: Home: Celtic, Dundee Away: Hearts, Rangers, St Mirren Bottom half For Aberdeen: Home: Hibernian, Livingston, Ross County Away: Motherwell, St Johnstone For Hibernian: Home: Aberdeen, St Johnstone Away: Livingston, Motherwell, Ross County For Livingston: Home: Motherwell, Ross County, St Johnstone Away: Aberdeen, Hibernian For Motherwell: Home: Aberdeen, Hibernian Away: Livingston, Ross County, St Johnstone For Ross County: Home: Hibernian, Livingston, Motherwell Away: Aberdeen, St Johnstone For St Johnstone: Home: Hibernian, Motherwell Away: Aberdeen, Livingston, Ross County But that doesn't feel right really? Can't remember fixtures off hand but feel like that makes a lot of people visit the same place too much.
The Master
Those fixtures for us don’t look right. I’m pretty confident they’ll make sure Celtic and Rangers have a perfect balance, which means Celtic would come to us and we go to Ibrox. No idea what such a constraint would mean for the rest of the fixtures, mind you (not that the SPFL would care). This will probably be moot, though, as we go on to lose our next two games.
HeartsOfficialMoaner
Can we have Rangers or Celtic last game of the season to stop them winning the league.

Spikethedee
We’ve definitely played Killie twice at home already this season. We are due a second home game against: Celtic, Hibs, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Livingston, Aberdeen.

SilverWolfe
Looks like the following will happen in the top half If Dundee make top 6 Dundee will host Killie for a third time and St Mirren will host Hearts for a third time. One team will also need to flip their OF fixtures so that Celtic and Rangers keep a 19/19 split - for purposes of this post I’ll make it Dundee. Celtic (19/19) Home: Rangers, Hearts, Dundee Away: Kilmarnock, St Mirren Rangers (19/19) Home: Kilmarnock, St Mirren Away: Celtic, Hearts, Dundee Hearts (19/19) Home: Rangers, Dundee Away: Celtic, Kilmarnock, St Mirren Kilmarnock (19/19) Home: Celtic, Hearts Away: Rangers, St Mirren, Dundee St Mirren (19/19) Home: Celtic, Kilmarnock, Hearts Away: Rangers, Dundee Dundee (19/19) Home: Rangers, Kilmarnock, St Mirren Away: Celtic, Hearts If Hibs make top 6 they will play 20/18 split Celtic (19/19) Home: Rangers, Hearts, Hibs Away: Kilmarnock, St Mirren Rangers (19/19) Home: Kilmarnock, St Mirren Away: Celtic, Hearts, Hibs Hearts (19/19) Home: Rangers, St Mirren Away: Celtic, Kilmarnock, Hibs Kilmarnock (19/19) Home: Celtic, Hearts Away: Rangers, St Mirren, Hibs St Mirren (19/19) Home: Celtic, Kilmarnock, Hibs Away: Rangers, Hearts Hibs (20/18) Home: Rangers, Hearts, Kilmarnock Away: Celtic, St Mirren If Motherwell make top 6 then Killie play 20/18 split Celtic (19/19) Home: Rangers, Hearts, Motherwell Away: Kilmarnock, St Mirren Rangers (19/19) Home: Kilmarnock, St Mirren Away: Celtic, Hearts, Motherwell Hearts (19/19) Home: Rangers, St Mirren Away: Celtic, Kilmarnock, Motherwell Kilmarnock (20/18) Home: Celtic, Hearts, Motherwell Away: Rangers, St Mirren St Mirren (19/19) Home: Celtic, Kilmarnock, Motherwell Away: Rangers, Hearts Motherwell (19/19) Home: Rangers, Hearts Away: Celtic, St Mirren, Kilmarnock

We will likely have the least to play for and had a deficit of home games a few years ago so I'd have thought we'd be the logical choice.
Hendo
The priority for the post split games is always to have everyone playing 19 home and 19 away, that takes precedence over having to play away against one side three times for instance. I cant recall any time when a t*eam had a 20/18 or 18/20 split, certainly not when it mattered. The issue this season would be if Hibs or Motherwell finish top 6, meaning 4 sides would be only entitled to 2 home games but one of them would need to get 3. If the SPFL had any sense, they'd give that extra home game to Hearts, as they are secure in third so the advantage for them wouldnt be as critical, but its the SPFL so who knows. *which is kind of what DC92 said but i hadnt read the post properly.
