DrewDon Posted July 5 Share Posted July 5 I know it's an odd thing to say when Labour are on course for a 170-seat majority, but there is going to be a lot of pressure from Labour MPs with paper thin majorities on Starmer and Reeves to deliver in the first couple of years, and they have voluntarily put themselves in a fiscal straitjacket - so they either won't change things to the degree that people are hoping, or they will have to break some of their tax promises.
