O'Kelly Isley III
I'm looking forward to the doorstep visit from the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed student Labour activists who appear here at election time. Amongst other things I'll be asking for their thoughts on Starmer's views on student tuition fees, and just how Scottish Labour will tell it's London masters to f**k off when they try and blight my two teenage grand-daughters life chances by enforcing uniformity with England.
KirkieRR
We actually had s LibDem canvassing today. They're targeting the SNP-held East Dunbartonshire seat they lost, and we're being shifted into it through boundary changes. Local LibDems regularly go into council coalutions with Tories and Labour, and their candidate is a certifiable Councillor who was really keen on shutting our library. So the LibDems can chuff right off.

"“And look – if that sounds conservative, then let me tell you: I don’t care. Somebody has got to stand up for the things that make this country great and it isn’t going to be the Tories,” extracts from his speech pre-briefed by Labour say." Looks like he's in danger of going full Trump... Except in our case, his silly hats will say "Make the UK grate again".

Dan Steele
Guardian were also reporting his 'conservative' statement earlier. KEIR Starmer will say he does not care if he "sounds conservative" in a speech in which he will pledge to be "on steroids" in his mission to reform Labour.

Thane of Cawdor
The removal of the aspirations of Clause iv ended my membership of the Labour Party. I didn't seriously believe that any Labour Government would strive to meet the objectives of that Clause; but, however symbolic and romantic, it somehow kept the Party connected to the principles of Socialism. I now have no idea how to categorise the fundamental beliefs of the Labour Party, other than that they should be in Government and will say and do anything to realise that objective. We've now had another 13 years of Tory misrule and it appears that this era will continue if the appalling Starmer leads the next Government. f**k knows what will be in the Labour Party General Election Manifesto, but it should be an entertaining read in a bitter, tragi-comic way.

KirkieRR
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-65593353 Sirkier 'Peter Butterworth' Starmer responds to Braverman's latest hysteria by criticising her mainly for knocking British workers, not for pursuing a cruel immigration policy. Actual fruit pickers may also resent his suggestion that their job is the lowest of the low. Elsewhere he's credited as also criticising the Tory failure to fulfil their immigration reduction promises. Again rather than condemning the heartlessness of their methods.
