I suspect the EU wouldn’t be falling over themselves to welcome us back if a referendum wasn’t hugely in favour of us rejoining. Any political leader couldn’t commit to “overturning Brexit”. Thats something that is going to have to be a longer term objective and its going to start with first steadying the ship and getting good relations again with The EU.
