More importantly, that Scott Burns article also says Liam Fox could be considered. Now that’s an option the rest of us can all get behind.

If it’s one of those pair, it’s obviously a front for Potter to call the shots.

If that’s the case goodluck. Potter will make Yogi look like Pep.

Wonder which well known face we'll be seeing in the directors box on Saturday, might he even be in the dugout 🤔

Keep Gordy Broon away from this! He made a big enough mess trying to run the country back in the day!🤪

However, what about Jack Ross for the manager's job?

He's spoken openly about not wanting to manage again, at least anytime soon, as he prefers the idea of working in the background like a Director of Football instead.

He believe you can lay down roots at a club better and actually put your ideas across over years, whereas when you're a manager it's rare to be in one place for more than a year or two.

He'll try that avenue first, and he's still in "training" to even attempt it, before he becomes a manager again.

Do you leave anyone up at the halfway line when defending a corner?

All out attack - Dabrowski to deal with corners by himself and launch a quick counter attack to the other 10 boys on the half way line.

You’re guaranteed goals with me, just no necessarily Raith Rovers goals.

sacked in the close season...after getting them promoted weeks before!!

I’m still confused as to what’s going on at Starks. We had our best season for 30 years, almost equalled our highest points tally, played some good stuff and got the fans back at games in numbers.

Ok, so the second half of the season wasn’t as good, we didn’t play great for the most part,  Murray definitely made a few mistakes, especially at Arbroath away, and the season ultimately ended in disappointment.

But let’s not forget that we only had 14/15 players to pick from every week, due to injury, and half of those included were carrying niggles for most of the season. We had no defence, even in the 1st half of the season, and yet we exceeded all expectations. We should be focussing on why we can’t keep a squad fit to give our manager the best opportunity to succeed. It’s been happening for years, regardless of who the manager is.

But, we got 28 points from the 2nd half. W8 D4 L6.
If the 1st half of the season had been the same, we’d still have finished in 2nd place, on 56 points, and probably would still have lost in the play offs.
The only difference being that expectations wouldn’t have been so high after the whirlwind start we had. We’d all have taken a 2nd place finish before a ball was kicked.

James McPake said after a game against the Pars that Raith had a cutting edge his team was lacking, that was the difference. Basically, we were playing with a confidence, but the Championship is a very even and competitive league, and a few games can make a huge difference. Players get tired and a few of our players didn’t deliver in the 2nd half of the season. Doesn’t mean they’re not good players, but just cos we had an amazing run at the start, doesn’t mean we’re better than the rest. There’s not much in it and the other teams improved.

If anyone is so delusional that they think we’re better than the rest and should be walking the league title, they’re in for a shock!

We have decent players and are capable of winning the league but so are others. Ian Murray would have given us as much a chance as any other manager will. And after the season and hope he gave us last year, he deserved a go at this season!

We could well be waiting another 30 years!

I wonder if no one is announced before Saturday , who's going to be picking the team?

Those that have been put in charge until a new manager is appointed. 🙄

I’ve actually heard it’ll be a random number generator. Sad but true.
