The Common Travel Agreement was not affected by Brexit. An Irish citizen can freely move to and work in the UK.

That’s fine, but the conversation was about OTHER possible managers, including beyond Ireland/UK, which was impacted.

What about a Bulgarian manager?

Are any of their World 🌍 Cup 1994 squad (preferably with coaching experience) currently available?

Someone get on the blower to Hristo Stoichkov.

Thinking out the box. 📦

If he’s unavailable, what about that lad with the mad sideburns who looked a bit like teen wolf? Or the baldy guy, was it Letchkov?

I heard a rumour that we’re looking at a lower league US coach. No history of football, but he has a positive outlook and a wealth of folksy sayings that we’ll come to love despite him not winning.

We’ve got the same thing in Falkirk.

Do you see the irony between this post and your hard on for Tim Clancy?

“but with the BREXIT impacts on bringing in employees from outside the UK”

It’s difficult to be any clearer.

So you're meaning League of Ireland coaches, rather than Irish League ones.

No issue if they are UK or Irish citizens afaik?

None at all, it was more the fact that he was referring to Irish Leagues while actually meaning the Republic of Ireland.

Just to clarify, would Irish Leagues not refer to all football Leagues operating on the island named Ireland, or is that in some way offensive or incorrect? Yes, I’m aware of the differing nationalities involved, but the term European Leagues covered the continent, although I presume British Leagues would (likely incorrectly) exclude Northern Irish Leagues.

Yes, maybe, although I've never heard anyone refer to them that way, but you mentioned Irish League coaches in your original post, not Irish Leagues. (Although I then muddied the waters with Irish Leagues myself.)

Thinking what you mean and expressing it can be complex…apologies if it was confusing.
