It's basic stuff you're ignoring based on unreliable sound. He did not blow the whistle until the ball was in the net. That’s a basic fact, regardless if you’re at the wind up, blinkered or generally just incapable of understanding.

Why you're arguing based on broadcast noise, which is playing fake crowd noise and is clearly delayed, is totally beyond me. FFS

That doesn't mean it's factually correct - McCann & Kevin Thomson could easily be slavering, but some of the St Johnstone players definitely stopped as if the whistle went IMO. Think it's Ricky Foster rather than Thomson. Slavering comment probably still stands though.

RandomGuy.
That's awful from Drey Wright, miles behind the defence. He's been poor all season bar 20 minutes in the cup. Been a decent game but think obvious our flaws still. Sidibeh isn't good enough linking play yet for these games so attacks die with him, and the CM area is still weak/poor. Essel would help a bit but MacPherson replaced by quality is much needed to give us a chance in the league. Won't even get a payday from this to fund a new signing.

invergowrie arab
Just watched it back from the live feed. The referee begins to signal and then let's it go on. 100% doesn't blow whistle until ball hits the net.
The Real Saints
I think they ultimately reached the right decision with the first Rangers goal. However, I’d assumed that the referee had already blown the whistle due to his body language in the build-up which undoubtedly caused some of our players to stop defending. So, a bit of culpability for the referee who shouldn’t have been making it so obvious that he was about to blow for a foul, and a bit of culpability for the Saints players who didn’t play to the whistle.
Honest Saints Fan
Disgusting to hear Rangers fans attacking our SLO. A nicer, more helpful person you couldn't meet. Would go out her way to help fans of any team.
