Rangers v St Johnstone: Sunday 8(Eight) PM!

Recommended Posts

Bit of a non event from a Saints point of view. Just get this game out of the way and let Simo do what he needs over the international break.

Don't anticipate a similar scoreline as vs Celtic as Rangers a level below, but equally, don't see any positive result for Saints here. However, if Rangers don't win, is it curtains for Clement?

Probably not, he’s managed to get himself some job security by taking a long term deal.

Rangers never ask for favours, it's just expected others will agree.

An arrogance amongst your boardroom that they've never earned.

You seem to have the inside scoop on how this unfolded. How we forgot to request an away fixture and subsequently demanded the fixture be swapped.

Yeah I've been sorting of hopeful after the manager change but realistically if he's not been able to be on the training ground then little is likely to be different. I guess even if he has been that just a couple of sessions won't have changed anything either.

Hope it gets big viewing figures and they move loads of Celtgers games to Sunday nights.

Well they do tend to just want to only show the 2 teams, so maybe plenty of horrible game times for them at home.

My first thought was ‘ooh 4-3-3!’ but looking at it, I think it’s still a 5-3-2 with Nicky Clark in midfield. Hope I’m wrong as that would be a waste of Nicky if played in a deeper role. Andy Kirk just said Essel is in the back line so confirms a back 3/5 for me.

My thoughts? Neilson/Essel might be the other way about.

Makes sense to attack the channels with pace out wide tbh, that's where they seem weak.
