amnarab
Thorn 1 Broxburn 3...Thorn led after 3 mins but Broxburn fought back to lead 2-1 at break. Thorn always dangerous on break and had chances for equaliser but defensive error led to Broxburn 3rd. Thorn keeper McWilliams helped keep score down. Broxburn won the game in midfield with their number 6 (Kyle Bell) running the show. Auchinleck definitely have a chance against Broxburn in the Scottish Cup if they press the Broxburn defence

This was an understrength Thorn team while Broxburn going forward impressed. The other end didn't and should have been punished
Shannon
Gala Fairydean Rovers 0 v 1 Irvine Meadow. Euan Baird the Meadow scorer. Hopefully can continue this form into our league games - sorry at least another 3 cup games! Next 2 games I feel big games for our season if can get results may set us up well to maybe get a couple of new signings in for rest of our league and cup games with 5 development players on our bench today. But agree, Talbot should be too good for Broxburn.

Broxburn lined up today with 3 left backs in the defence... one just recalled from loan for this game to play Centre Half! The one non LB in back 4 was also a left footer, so Broxburn defence was very lop sided. And it showed...! Add in a bit of a bad habit that we can start games very slowly and Thorn should have been out of sight by half time! Some of the chances they missed I'm sure would usually be buried and our keeper made a couple of good saves too. It was absolute robbery that Broxburn went in 2-1 up at the break! Second half was much better. Made the Thorn keeper work a few times and missed a couple of sitters that would have flattered scoreline.. Bell and Mcrory-Irving got on the ball more, were driving Broxburn forward and controlled the game much more. Ideally next week, some of the missing players from defence are back in the line-up and Broxburn are switched on from the kickoff. If not... Auchinleck won't miss the chances that Thorn did!
