ArabianKnight Posted Sunday at 15:28 Share Posted Sunday at 15:28 It's the big one, the north east derby. 4th Vs 2nd The Terrors Vs The Dandies Let the absolute nonsense of faux rivalry commence.
naegoodinthedark Posted Sunday at 15:36 Share Posted Sunday at 15:36 Great start to the season for both teams. This could be a cracker! Only real guarantee is that there will be more posts from Dundee fans than anyone else.
Sarto Mutiny Posted Sunday at 16:08 Share Posted Sunday at 16:08 Will be interesting to see how Aberdeen get on against a decent team
starryfish Posted Sunday at 16:28 Share Posted Sunday at 16:28 United fourth, is that because the rest of the league outwith the top two are rotten or have they been good?
Sugar_Army Posted Sunday at 16:31 Share Posted Sunday at 16:31 I think on occasion we have been OK, a bit of fighting spirit with late goals etc but at the same time we have been lucky at certain moments. I am still not convinced in our position but will take it for now.
Gibby82 Posted Sunday at 16:41 Share Posted Sunday at 16:41 (edited) Disputing we're north east. We're an independent enclave and the moral conscience of Scotland frankly. Edited yesterday at 07:32 by Gibby82

Certainly the defending against Hibs looked questionable at times yesterday, United fans be delighted nonetheless especially given where they have came from
Big Shedboy Posted Sunday at 16:54 Share Posted Sunday at 16:54 Aberdeen second, is that because everyone they've played are rotten or have they been good?
Mark Connolly Posted Sunday at 16:56 Share Posted Sunday at 16:56 This rivalry seems fairly New, but I suspect it could become a Firm favourite in our Derby schedule
Illgresi Posted Sunday at 17:14 Share Posted Sunday at 17:14 My first game in a few years due to various factors, and it will also be my laddie's first game (he's 5). So it would be nice if Utd could toe the party line please.

You are welcome

Fletchers Saucy Manbun Posted Sunday at 17:37 Share Posted Sunday at 17:37 Sheep look better since they got rid of that haddie Miovski. 1-1 looks about likely.

Aladdin Posted Sunday at 20:16 Share Posted Sunday at 20:16 We've rode our luck at times but we're grinding out results which should give us confidence. Would be extremely happy to take a point however.

The entire spine of the team bar the goalie out injured and Holt gives me the fear with his defending.
Dunty Posted Sunday at 21:45 Share Posted Sunday at 21:45 Stadium set to be a sell out, our second in a row (and we'll probably have three in a row since the next one after this is Rangers). Heady times. Would be typical for Jim Goodwin of all people to be the first in Scotland to get the better of Jimmy Thelin.

Both sets of fans probably relishing or dreading this fixture. I can't think of a time when Aberdeen has been in form and we've went and knocked them off their run. Can't think of a time when United have been doing decent and Aberdeen do the same. Oh wait.
velo army Posted Sunday at 23:14 Share Posted Sunday at 23:14 Sorry for the weegie ignorance, but where do Dundonians stand on the chipper/chippy nomenclature? Does it vary depending on your orientation to Dobbies or does the chipper belt start a bit further north?
