Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

No Monday Night Football has me disproportionately seething tonight. Mrs B backshift, baby B's in their pits and I have f**k all to watch.
Fkn typical, I've got the night off tonight as it's the September weekend, and there wasn't even a game on to watch and down a couple of beers. Even a championship game would have done ffs.

There's a wee place called Bramble on Fenwick Road that has been there for about 2 years and just recently it must have become one these 'trendy hotspots'. Absolute roasters hanging about at the door and outside the door waiting on a place in a cafe with about 10 seats.
Does my nut in when A. It isn't anything special and B. There at least 2 alternatives where you wouldn't have to wait.
Went past the "worst" of them today...12 people standing out in the rain for coffee and a bun.

Councils have the right to mark roundabouts as they see fit to be fair. I do a bit of design work, and I can often mark them like that.

Why contradict the highway code though? Especially when most cars will go over or right. By doing that there they're more likely to have two lots of traffic queuing for the right hand lane whereas had they had left well alone and not made a complete arse of it the traffic would have flowed better.

Is that not the new hospital to the left? If it is I can fully understand why they have done that.

That's at the bit of road where you're leaving the hospital. The left side takes you to the glen.

In that case I agree. Completely daft.

There's a twat on University Challenge wearing a fucking beret.

I despise him and hope his team loses and that he steps on an upturned plug.

The p***k.

That's bizarre. Was driving home about 6.30pm yesterday and saw someone wearing a red beret. Looked like either Captain Sensible or a 1980s New York Guardian Angel.

Could be the beginning of the apocalypse, Pars fans seeing people in berets.

If berets are going to become a 'thing' then I would embrace the apocalypse.
